Junior Cricket 2017

Dear Junior Member, Parents/Carers,

I hope you’ve had a good winter and you’re looking forward to the cricket season. Hopefully you will be joining us at Burbage & Easton Royal CC again this year.

If any parent/carers would like to get involved with the junior section please contact me.

Burbage & Easton Royal CC are delighted to announce the signing of Deepak Joon for the 2017 season. Deepak comes to us from Wellington, New Zealand where he has played first class cricket alongside our previous overseas players Michael Papps and Luke Woodcock. Deepak who is a top order batsman has also played professionally in his home country of India for state side Haryana. We are sure Deepak will contribute heavily with his performance for the 1st XI, but the good news for the club as a whole is that he is also a very keen coach, having already completed a NZ level 2. Our hope is that all members of the club from junior to senior make best use of his presence in order to improve their games.

We have a full fixture list this year with the U11’s, U13’s & U15’s entered in the Wilts League as well as the U11’s, in the Kennet League (Y5, Y6, Y7, Y8, Y9 & Y10)

The U9’s (Y1, Y2, Y3 & Y4) will play in the WYCL Festivals and we will be running our own Kwik Cricket Festival onSunday 4th June.
